Corey Harrison faces significant financial strain

Corey Harrison, known for his role on the reality show ‘Pawn Stars’, is currently grappling with approximately $130,000 in medical bills following a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico. The incident resulted in 11 fractured ribs, a concussion, and facial injuries, necessitating nearly a month of hospitalization and three surgeries.

As a result of the accident, Corey has found himself in a precarious financial situation. He has only $400 left in his bank account after paying medical expenses and is in debt to friends and family who loaned him money for his care. “What am I going to do, fly out to Vegas and sell stuff? I can’t move from my recliner,” he expressed, highlighting his current inability to work.

To assist with his mounting medical costs, a GoFundMe campaign was launched with a target of raising $18,000. However, as of the latest update, the campaign has only garnered nearly $5,000. Corey initially resisted the idea of public fundraising but ultimately agreed to it due to his lack of health insurance.

Corey has also had to pause his podcast, the ‘Corey Harrison Show’, due to ongoing health issues and is completely removed from ‘Pawn Stars’ for the time being. He expressed deep concern about his financial situation, stating, “I’m just going to die out here. I don’t have the money to keep paying these people.” His fears are compounded by the tragic loss of his brother, Adam Harrison, who died of a fentanyl overdose in January 2024.

Despite the challenges, Corey remains grateful for the support he has received, noting, “Thank God I’m not in the United States, because it would have probably cost me about $300,000.” He continues to navigate the aftermath of the accident, with his health and financial future hanging in the balance.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding any further developments in his recovery or financial situation.
