demi lovato — US news

“I wanted to create a cookbook that was for people who may have had disordered eating in the past or are just intimidated to step foot into the kitchen for the first time,” said Demi Lovato, announcing her upcoming debut cookbook, ‘One Plate at a Time,’ set to be released on March 31, 2026.

The cookbook will feature over 80 classic recipes, including fast food-inspired dishes, and aims to make cooking accessible for those who may feel overwhelmed in the kitchen. Lovato, who has openly battled bulimia, has spent years rebuilding her relationship with food.

In addition to recipes, ‘One Plate at a Time’ will include personal anecdotes and photos of Lovato’s family, providing a glimpse into her culinary journey. “I really want people to enjoy stepping foot into the kitchen, and finding freedom with food,” she added, emphasizing her desire to inspire others.

Lovato’s journey with cooking took a significant turn when she was around 30 years old. “That was the first recipe that I cooked with friends where I was like, ‘Wow, this is actually really fun,'” she recalled, highlighting the joy she found in the kitchen.
