The set scores were 25-22, 20-25, 25-18, 27-25, and 21-19, showcasing a competitive match that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

In this match, Muir stood out as a key player for Purdue Fort Wayne, leading with an impressive 21 kills, along with five digs and four aces. Despite their efforts, the team could not secure the win, and Lindenwood improved their season record to 18-4, now holding a 9-3 mark in MIVA play.

Meanwhile, in softball, Austin Peay State University faced a tough challenge against Central Arkansas, suffering a 10-4 loss. Austin Peay initially took the lead, scoring the first two runs in the top of the first inning. However, Central Arkansas responded strongly, scoring five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, which ultimately shifted the momentum of the game.
