Chipotle’s Burrito Vault: Double Protein Edition game is back for its third year, launching on March 30, 2026, and running until April 1, 2026. This year’s event promises over $2 million in prizes for Chipotle Rewards members, making it an exciting opportunity for fans of the popular fast-casual chain.
The game introduces a new gameplay mode called Double Protein Power Hour, during which the number of prizes is doubled and all include double protein. Players can participate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, with four attempts each hour to guess the exact burrito order combination.
Last year, the Burrito Vault saw remarkable engagement, with more than 3.5 million plays. “With more than 3.5 million plays last year, Burrito Vault generated record-breaking engagement with our fans,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s Chief Marketing Officer. This year, the first player to unlock the vault will win free burritos for a year, adding to the stakes of the game.
During regular gameplay, players can win 3,600 BOGO entrees and 2,000 double protein rewards each hour. The excitement peaks during the Double Protein Power Hour, where 7,200 double-protein BOGO entrees and 4,000 double protein rewards are available each hour.
National Burrito Day, celebrated on April 2, 2026, coincides with the conclusion of the Burrito Vault game. To celebrate, Chipotle is offering a $0 delivery fee on digital orders, making it easier for fans to enjoy their favorite burritos.
